A business graduate of International Islamic University Malaysia, Tengku Ahmad Syahmil is the CEO and co-founder of Skolafund, a unique crowdfunding platform to finance underprivileged, deserving students with a university education. He was listed in “2016 Forbes 30 under 30 Asia: Social Entrepreneurs”. Skolafund’s first four months as an Alpha website raised nearly RM25,000 for six students through six different crowdfunding campaigns. Seeing the strong support, the Skolafund team has created an upgraded Beta version to make it more user-friendly and support more scholarship campaigns. Tengku Syahmil is also the co-founder of Urbane Academy that exposes technology entrepreneurship to kids.
