Iskhakov, Ildus Memetovich was born 15 November 1982 in Uzbekistan. In infancy his parents moved to their historical homeland – in Mordovia. Received his secondary education in the village of Bolshaya Yelkhovka lyambirsky district, the Republic of Moldova.

In 2001, he graduated from madrasah in the city of Buguruslan in Orenburg region, and then entered the faculty of fundamentals of religion in the International Islamic University of Medina. In 2004 he took a sabbatical and returned to Russia.Since 2004 he held the position of Chairman and Imam-Khatib of the Local Muslim religious organization "Medina" s. Bolshaya Yelkhovka lyambirsky district of the Republic of Mordovia. Since 2007 he combined this work with the position of Deputy mufti in public relations. Led educational activities in the mosques of Mordovia, among University students, carried out educational activities with the prisoners-Muslims.

27 Nov 2011 in Saransk on X Majlis-Congress of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Republic of Mordovia was elected Mufti, the Chairman of the CRO DUM of the RM.In 2012, at meeting of Presidium of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of European part of Russia elected a member of the Presidium of the DOUMER.In April 2015 at the meeting of the Presidium of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of the Russian Federation elected member of the Presidium of the DUM of the Russian Federation.

Женат, воспитывает троих детей.
